Manchester City will pay a world-record fee for a defender after agreeing a deal in excess of £50m with Tottenham for Kyle Walker Walker will undergo a medical ahead of his proposed switch to City and, if all being well, will become Pep Guardiola's third signing of the summer.
Guardiola has been keen to bolster his full back options having released Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Pablo Zabaleta earlier this summer.

 Muhammad al-Maghrabi, 41, was shot dead in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Monday after being convicted of raping and murdering a three-year-old girl. Maghrabi was brought to the main city square in an armoured van before being escorted by soldiers through a crowd of thousands of onlookers. Barcelona have confirmed that Neymar has asked to leave the club.

Barcelona have released another statement, revealing Neymar has asked to leave the club... "The player Neymar Jr, accompanied by his father and agent, has informed FC Barcelona this morning of his decision to leave the Club in a meeting held at the Club’s offices. "Faced with this position, the Club has informed them they refer to the buy-out clause of his existing contract which as of 1 July totals 222m euros which will have to be deposited in its entirety. "Furthermore, in reply to the claim for the contract extension bonus, the Club has once again made it clear that the amount remains deposited with a notary until the case is resolved. "The player remains under contract at FC Barcelona but with temporary permission to not take part in training sessions."
