Giroud admits he was ashamed after Liverpool humiliating defeat.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has admitted that he ashamed of the humiliating defeat his side suffered at Liverpool and has called for immediate change.
The striker has been linked with a move back to France this summer, with Lyon and Marseille keen to end his misery at the Emirates.
But despite being limited to cameo roles this season, including a 28-minute run-out in Sunday’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool, Giroud committed his future to Wenger’s under-fire team.
And speaking on French radio RMC, he believes change must now come at the club before they can compete for the title again.
