Nemanja Matic has had a busy first full day as a Manchester United player as the midfielder dined out in Cheshire and looked for a new house after training.  The birthday boy, who turned 29 on Tuesday, was pictured getting used to his new surroundings with his wife Aleksandra.  And his son wasted no time in donning a Manchester United shirt as he wore last season's blue strip.

 Muhammad al-Maghrabi, 41, was shot dead in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Monday after being convicted of raping and murdering a three-year-old girl. Maghrabi was brought to the main city square in an armoured van before being escorted by soldiers through a crowd of thousands of onlookers. He was laid on the floor being being shot through the back with an AK-style weapon as people filmed on their phones.

Barcelona have confirmed that Neymar has asked to leave the club.

Barcelona have released another statement, revealing Neymar has asked to leave the club... "The player Neymar Jr, accompanied by his father and agent, has informed FC Barcelona this morning of his decision to leave the Club in a meeting held at the Club’s offices. "Faced with this position, the Club has informed them they refer to the buy-out clause of his existing contract which as of 1 July totals 222m euros which will have to be deposited in its entirety. "Furthermore, in reply to the claim for the contract extension bonus, the Club has once again made it clear that the amount remains deposited with a notary until the case is resolved. "The player remains under contract at FC Barcelona but with temporary permission to not take part in training sessions."
